LUX AI CHALLENGE
Co-Founder & Lead UI/UX Designer
I co-founded the Lux AI Challenge, a soon-to-be non-profit that develops creative, inclusive, and accessible AI programming competitions. In partnership with the popular machine learning platform Kaggle, we gained 900+ stars on Github and 1000+ teams.
I developed Lux AI's brand identity and worked alongside a multi-disciplinary team to build a game visualizer that has accumulated millions of replays and downloads.

GAME VISUALIZER
The island of Lux is a player-versus-player battlefield in which players tackle a multi-variable optimization, resource gathering, and allocation problem. I built a game visualizer that unbiasedly communicates the progress and movements of both teams while displaying a multitude of general and tile/unit-specific data.

DESIGNING FOR ACCESSIBILITY
Lux AI's visualizer uses a combination of form, value, and hue to distinguish different objects and teams to remain accessible to the visually impaired.
MEDIA FOR OUTREACH
Lux AI Season 1 is a project made possible by our 3 key stakeholders: our partner Kaggle, our sponsors, and our active and enthusiastic community. In order to foster these connections, I supplied the graphics for presentations, sponsorship brochures, and social media.
SEASONAL THEMES
Seasonal game skins and promotional materials promote a sense of timeliness and invite renewed interest in the competition!
